Watershed West does not charge any pre job consulting fees and no deposit is required on the project.

All Watershed West installations are carried out by licensed trades installers supervised and quality controlled by our Watershed West project management team.

Watershed West will manage all the approvals and compliances required for the project.

When using Federal Government Grants to install both rainwater tanks and solar hot water systems, you will need to provide a consolidated single claim which covers both activities.

Watershed West offers a full service covering all aspects of supply and installation of rainwater and solar hot water systems. This eliminates the need to consolidate and wait for invoices from different suppliers.

Watershed West offers a complete service covering all aspects of supply and installation of rainwater tanks, solar hot water systems, solar power systems, solatube skylights and other approved products and systems.

To register you must complete the online form on the National Solar Schools website, National Solar Schools.

The department then cross-checks Australian Government funding databases and will deduct previous funding, but only for the value of the tank itself. They will then email the remaining funding available to you in the National Solar Schools Program.

Watershed West will then build the project around the available funding and where needed, integrate your project with existing water infrastructure.

It is important to remember that the National Solar Schools Program makes a one-off payment and do not fund any variation to the project scope.

Watershed West will work with you to comprehensively plan the project to ensure your school gets the best value and most effective system.

You will need to lodge your claim for approval online via the National Solar Schools Program website.

Watershed West will support you with all the required details with a comprehensive quotation and scope of works and ensure that all items and activities are bona fide expenses.

On completion of the project the National Solar Schools Program requires final reporting on the outcome of the project including water and energy savings, community awareness improvements and record of costs.

Watershed West ensures copies of relevant receipts are available and provides photographs of completed projects. We will also assist in the energy and water efficiency community awareness activities report.
