'Champion' Returns to the Shire

This week, staff from Watershed West welcomed the company’s sponsored player for the 2008 season, South Sydney Rabbitohs centre three-quarter, Beau Champion. Champion visited the Kirrawee showroom to help launch Watershed West’s environmental campaign.

Watershed West has been operating in the local area for over three years promoting a range of environmental products including rainwater systems, Solahart hot water systems, solar power (photovoltaic) and greywater treatment systems. 

Although Champion could be accused of straying into unfamiliar territory on Wednesday night … not so … from 1999 to 2004 Champion attended Endeavour Sports High School showing great promise as a junior football player. 

Following his studies, Beau was selected for the 2005 Australian Schoolboys’ Rugby League tour. As John West, Managing Director of Watershed West says, “It’s always good to see positive results, resulting in part from local training, even if Beau is now scoring tries for the Rabbitohs and not the Sharks”. 

Champion was happy to be back in the Shire to help promote a company that supplies and installs environmentally-friendly systems for residents, businesses, and the wider community. Keep scoring those tries Beau …
